I am a lampwork glass bead artist who loves colour. I graduated from Winchester School of Art with a degree in textile design, specialising in weave and worked as a freelance textile designer selling my designs to fashion houses, including Donna Karan and Calvin Klein.

Colour inspires, colour captivates - whether the soft blush of a duck egg or the vibrant show of a tropical flower - colour just reaches out and grabs me. For me and my work, colour is everything.

My work has featured in a number of publications including Craft & Design, Bead, Making Jewellery and Beads & Beyond and I have been a regular contributor to a number of bead and jewellery magazines. I was also the subject of a video produced for Bead TV which is now available as a DVD. My work will also feature in a new lampwork book by Joan Gordon being published by the Guild of Mastercraftsmen in October 2010.

Modern lampwork artists have some fantastic equipment at their disposal not forgetting a wonderful array of glass to use. I mainly use soft, and occasionally borosilicate, glass for my beads, all of which are annealed in a kiln to ensure their strength and durability.

My beads (and from time to time my jewellery) are available for sale either through this site or at a number of select events throughout the year.
