New for 2010

Classes at West Dean College, Chichester

If you are an existing lampworker and want to explore new ideas for your glass work, you might be interested in a class I'll be teaching at West Dean this summer.

It's something a little different to usual classes where you learn techniques, as we'll be exploring new ways to look at your work and your sources of inspiration. You are encouraged to bring along inspiring items to work from - this could be a photograph, a postcard, a piece of pottery or textile - in fact, anything goes - EXCEPT photographs of other lampworker's beads. The idea is to get you to look outside the normal sources for inspiration as a means to expand your creativity.

This class is designed with the intermediate or advanced lampworkers in mind who perhaps has spent time trying lots of techniques but lack inspiration as to 'where to go next'. It is not suitable for absolute beginners.

Currently there are plans for one class at the end of June and details are now available on the West Dean website HERE.
